        Beautiful secluded campsite, about 30mins from Carterton, right next to the river and at the start of a number of hiking trails. Recommend a 4wd to access the campground, doable in a 2wd buuut always good to be prepared just incase. Plenty of sandflies at the campsite so lather up with insect repellent. Toilets onsite, alongside a number of picnic tables and fire pits. Really serene. Also the waiohine swing bridge is about 5min walk from the campsite it's well worth a visit to walk across, it's high, long and generally epic.
