I recently wanted to arrange Mortgage finance with another Mortgage supplier as the mortgage company / Bank that I was with was less than helpful to me, probably due to my age. Charles and his Son Phillip were extremely helpful to say the least. Being 61 years old and self employed, I was having a hard time trying to deal with my existing lender.. I called in to Mortgage Link Wairarapa and got myself an appointment with Charles. I explained exactly what I was looking for and Charles laid out what information he would need in order to help me. I gathered that information and took it in to the office. A few days later, to my surprise, Charles phoned and said that one of their mortgage providers were willing to give me an offer of borrowing after some further information was provided. The said information was provided by me and I left it with Charles and Phillip . The whole process was dealt with extremely efficiently by them both and I am pleased that I now have the borrowing that I required to get on with my life. It wasnt until we walked off the street and talked to Charles that we realised that we could own our own home. We always thought home ownership was out of our reach as we hadnt actively saved nor had we given up Sunday brunch but Charles service literally changed our lives as we now own our own home. Without Charles we would never have understood what the banks wanted from us, how to access and navigate the first home process and how to apply for the home start grant.
