First time experience was wow what have I got myself into but then to be surrounded by the sights and sounds was wonderful. The different fungi was amazing, watching the waxeyes and fantails come within half a meter of us was very special. Maybe a couple more rest area seats wont go amiss for the beginner trekkers. Having a walking stick/pole is a must for some areas the track was muddy at times and some steps very high to negotiate but all in all a great experience.

Nice scenic walk through the bush, the noise of the insects was deafening today . An interesting walk, took over an hour, but we stopped off a few times to have a rest and soak up the sound's and sight's of the woodlands. We followed the circular route. There's some new boardwalks inplace and some more being built. A few places were a little muddy, but not much of a problem getting through. There were a few steps to climb, so if you prefer walking on the flat this is not for you. There are a couple of entry/ start points for the circular route along with a couple of routes to cut it short.

Awesome beautiful bush, great view at the top. No to long but enough of a challenge to make it a good work out.
