        Since new ownership has gone down a bit they were very busy but it wasnt unexpected. The service is extremely slow Im guessing a staff shortage in the kitchen be prepared to wait over an hour for your meals sadly they dont warn of the wait times so you can decide, and our table of 7 all got meals spread out over an hour. Fish cakes were so salty. Shame was a real destination. Always welcoming we stop here often on our motorbikes for a drink and some food. Can recommend for sure. Nice outlook over the river good pub food. Recently revamped so looks very nice inside. Great place to sit out in the sunshine and relax.
