A humiliating experience for me today at the Porirua branch. After leaving Supercheap which offered a warm, professional and friendly service I strolled over Repco for a browse. When leaving the shop I hear excuse me sir yes you! An over zealous young man needed to check my bag under suspicion of shoplifting. Im a successful 53 year old business owner and have no idea why I was singled out. Surely this degrading experience could be avoided by making sure staff actually witness someone stealing before any accusations of criminal behaviour. The contrast and professionalism of the supercheap service compared to Repco is immense! Ive never had to post a bad review ever but I found the behaviour from this young man to be offensive. Thanks Repco but Ill be sticking with the competition from now on.
