        My Visa debit card got swallowed by an atm machine and I called the Westpac contact centre. They informed me that the atm was faulty and I needed to get a new card. When I went into the Westpac centre in Porirua the guy who served me was not very empathic and looked like I was a massive nuisance. They also said if I needed a new card I would have to wait an entire week and although I could get a new cash card it would still cost me even though it was no fault of mine my card was swallowed by the faulty machine. Overall I felt that the man who served me was quite rude and I was very unhappy with the customer service.

        Honestly really poor customer service in branch and on the phone. Theyre really not helpful on the phone and hangs up on you and at the branch workers look like they dont even want to be there and seems uninterested in wanting to help. Staff needs to go through training again. Take your business elsewhere guys. Ive had more pleasant experience with ANZ
