Interesting place, part hotel, part venue. Food was OK, the canapes were amazingly nice, the meal was average. Wedding was held in a glade which was nice. House/hotel was a shoes off area which was odd. The barn (2 levels) area was the dinner and bar area (shoes on). Pretty much looked like a barn with farie lights everywhere. Lots of different areas/spaces outside and tonnes of parking space. Staff were efficiency and friendly. All the meals came out within 10 minutes for 100+ people

Such a beautiful venue. Beth & Reid were absolutely incredible. Along with our vendors, they ensured our entire day ran smoothly. Could not have asked for a better wedding day!! One of the key reasons I loved this venue was that the wet weather (or Plan B) option wasn't going to leave me disappointed. Lucky it didn't as weather meant we had to make a call to go with Plan B for the ceremony but the weather cleared and we were able to get out and enjoy the outdoor space & the lawn games. The barn is beautiful and Beth made sure everything was set up for the Reception afterwards. The Estate which sleeps 18 was fantastic and has just been refurbished. Had everything we needed and made hosting the after wedding function the next day a breeze!

Beth and Reid have created a gem in Featherson and I cannot recommend them enough after they helped ensure our special day went off without a hitch. The rustic setting of the barn and the greenery of the gardens were exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue, and provided a fantastic space for our guests to enjoy the day and some beautiful backdrops for our photos. They were accommodating with site visits before the day, and having full access to the venue the day before and after our chosen date meant we weren't rushing around. The homestead was perfect for our bridal party and family to stay and get ready. They worked directly with our caterers and vendors, and weather-wise it was a perfect day but having the barn as a backup for the ceremony was a major benefit when we were choosing a venue as it's one less thing we had to worry about. I'd absolutely recommend Tarureka Estate in a heartbeat for anyone looking for a wedding venue. Thanks again for making our special day perfect!

We knew immediately on seeing Tarureka that it was the only place we wanted to get married - it was our first and last wedding tour. The venue is stunning and Beth and Reid are warm, welcoming owners. Theyve put thoughtful touches into the homestead and barn to continue to elevate the beauty and rustic feel of the place. We greatly appreciated all of the advice and support on the lead up to the big day, and the time spent talking to our vendors to make the day run smoothly. We will always treasure our experience with Beth and Reid.
