We paid $65 for 2 lunches , a coffee & a sprite. The food was very disappointing in taste and quality. The currywurst frikadellen had one very small "beef" pattie (& I use the term beef extremely lightly as it seemed like dry, chewy TVP); and it came on half a small stale bun instead of a ciabatta as described ($26.80). The bratkartoffeln was described as "Panfried potatoes with caramelised onions, seasonal vegetables & eggs". There were no caramelised onions, the barest trace of egg you could barely see and the seasonal vegetables were actually obviously frozen mixed vegetables ($24.80). Both of the meals tasted bad. The sprite was $5.60, which I wouldn't have bought if I realised would be that much, but the price was not displayed anywhere. It was heavily watered. These were the worst meals I had bought in a very long time, there is no way I would come back. I also bought a number of items from the grocery. Many things on the shelf didn't have prices & several of my items were overcharged. I also see that the owners have been quite rude about customer feedback they don't like. Response to owners feedback: I note that I replied to your post on Neighbourly as you initiated it following Trent Whiteman's review that his coffee was expensive, saying his name @#$%& your Waitangi day post & calling him a @#&^ & a ^%@$ (edited as google took down my review because the names you use breach their ToS - says it all really). I described this as surprising for a hospitality business & yet you call your poor reviews unfounded & vicious. Regardless, I was a real customer, but no longer.
