Classic Christmas trees

If I could give zero stars and be able to post, I would. One star is generous. As with another comment, the previous owners were excellent, caring business owners with great customer service. The new owners don't give seem to care about anything other than maximising profit, adding fees left, right and centre. After many years as a loyal customer, I will never return here. I would rather have a fake tree, or no tree, than give my money to this place. I am confident that they will see a significant drop in business this year, due to nothing other than greed.

As its getting close to Xmas, we had been thinking about our normal tradition of getting a tree, and it reminded me that we were going to need to find a new place to get one. My own experience echoes that of prior commenters, it is a night and day experience between the warmth and joy the previous owners had and the way the new owners operate. I hope the new owners can mellow, and though our interactions with their son were wonderful last year, given the distance, effort, and overall sour taste last year's experience left in our mouth, we will be going elsewhere and would advise others the same.

I wanted to review this place because I feel some of the previous 1 star reviews aren't genuine. I've bought our tree from Classic Christmas Trees for the last three years and always had a great experience and a high quality tree. Their tree's come in many pine varieties and are all shaped and trimmed beautifully. Once you choose your tree they cut, wrap and bring it to your car. A casual family business so some patience required if they're busy but you won't be disappointed with your tree. Sorry to hear they won't be opening next year, hopefully they'll reconsider.. the only place to get a nice tree in wairarapa!
