        It was not one of my planning place in Wellington, my host recommended that i should go there and have a walk. The sheep next to the windmills are so lovely. You can see the South Island on clear day

        Really amazing views and very mesmerising walk and experience. The walk starts from the carpark, there are various ways you can go around, a self explanatory map right next to carpark makes it easy to explore. The windmills are enormous and great to experience up close. The gunplacements have been fenced as the structure has been deemed unstable. But overall great experience, will definitely recommend others and revisit sometime.
