Ordered $12 chicken and chips, chicken was terrible, chips were hard and stale and over salted. Yuck. Do NOT come here if you want quality bakery food

Posted Jan 2023 - LIAR. DISGUSTING food and a liar. I asked the woman when the sponge drop had been creamed - due to my last experience. I actually believed her response of "this morning". But the cream is actually hard! And tastes tangy AND the sponge is hard too. The custard pie is wrapped in glad wrap - so the crust is soft (but I'm crisping it up in the oven). And why was it wrapped - for storage. For how long? Long enough to get soft! The Lamington is soft but the cream is not this mornings. DISGUSTING food and a liar. Now there's other neg reviews too, there wasn't a couple of years ago. Bun Factory was closed today, so I tried here. NEVER again. (posted in 2020) Been there twice First time lovely fresh food. The beef and onion roll had a bit of gristle in it and the chicken roll also. The second time the sponge drop cream was going off. So 50/50 so far. Very kind and helpful staff.

Family tried today and the chicken and apricot pie tasted like it was made 5 days ago. Chicken and chips were old and over salted. The steak sandwich had mold inside. The bread was stale with the pork filled roll. The pork pastie was good though but overall it was a bad experience and we won't be back!

Their pastries are really dry and hard. I been there a couple of times just in case it was my timing but its just in general. So disappointed
