wood was seasoned and ready to burn, was a bit of bark and small bits of wood in the mix but saves from cutting up stuff for starting fires so dont mine that going to use again next year happy with the service and the online ordering Thanks Mark.

Not at all happy with this service. The wood turned up, season, but very wet. We can accept some dampness, but this wood was sodden. To add to this, there was a lot of detritus, bark etc, up to 20% of the total volume. Again, totally sodden. To add tot his, there were rocks in the mix, and the advice we were given was stacking it properly. Sorry, but stacking 4 cubic meters of wood may work for this people who have a lot of time and space, we have neither. And we strongly object to having to buy wood like this. Rain wet I can understand, but this is unacceptable. Even drying it out outside and then by the fire isn't getting us anywhere. The sales guy did get back in touch when we complained, but the offer of a couple of bags of pine cones doesn't quite cover our complaint. We asked for some dry wood, and he could take some of the old stuff back. He replied that he couldn't do that, but we could head back and look for some dry stuff at his yard. No dice. We seem to have a wide variance of opinion on what "Rain Wet" means. I don't think sodden and not getting any closer to being burnable after 2 weeks qualifies. I would not recommend this guy. He needs to sell a better product, and work on communication and customer satisfaction.
