When you are on a Self Drive Tour from Wellington to Wairarapa, via the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail, this is the last chance to stop for coffee before you drive over the Remutaka Pass. Coffee is highly recommended. The Vienna coffee I ordered came with just the right combo of caffeine and cream. The staff were friendly and the decor was enhanced with series of beautiful paintings from a local artist in Lower Hutt. A family friendly cafe with a play room for the kids.

A group of five went for lunch on Saturday 8th April 2023. Lovely place....but the portion control needs to be reviewed. Buffalo chicken salad was amusing with the lack of contents. 5 slivers of chicken, a few diced tomato bits, 3 chopped up olives, and a salute to the artichoke hiding amongst an over whelming amount of mesculan lettuce leaves. This was more like a treasure hunt salad!!. The mushroom's on toast were well received, and the eggs bene with salmon were nice, maybe warm the salmon up a fraction. The service on the other hand was faultless, lovely waitress. Hot drinks were spot on. Parking: Ample parking
