        Super cool manager...always a smile and helpful manner. Made you feel welcome and reminded me of a bygone era where guests were treated as such. Prepared to go the extra mile for stay to be as comfortable as possible. Definitely a huge asset to the establishment. Room was very spacious with French doors out to the garden. Retro feel to it. Would most definitely be my first choice if traveling through Masterton again. Loved it. Noteworthy details: The lodge is on a very large landscaped section. Feels like you are rural yet only 5 min drive to centre of town. Very private. You can park right outside your room.
