Welcoming and friendly bunch working here! Quick to offer suggestions around genre. They have a nice selection of books at great prices. Very good store!

Went today to browse as a group , only a few of us went in at a time as its a small shop. Were genuinely interested in buying items but obviously wanted to look at what was available first, was told by the man working that buying is better than looking, get out its getting crowded extremely rude and unnecessary, were treated like we were stealing the whole time. Was Obvious that he was being very discriminatory based off our age group. Upsetting as we have been in the past and purchased items. Will not be returning and suggest that anyone under the age of 50 does not go in unless you want to be treated like a criminal. Youre not going to sell anything if customers arent even allowed to look.

this one of New Zealands better 2nd hand bookshops. little but packs a punch and the owners are really nice people to boot.
