Jimmy and Tuna came to our rescue after our original painter pulled out right after the scaffolding had been installed. We had originally received a detailed and honest quote from Jimmy, but we made the mistake of choosing the cheapest quote instead, as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. Jimmy was quick to respond to our call for help, he kindly shuffled around some other jobs so Tuna and the team could start immediately. We have used about 5 other trades over the past few months and none have come close to the pleasure of dealing with Jimmy & Tuna - The team was hardworking, tidy, considerate, good communicators, and the workmanship was to a high standard. Don't make the same mistakes we did - choose Allstar Builders and Painters. You won't be disappointed.

Jimmy did an exterior paint job for us in July. Fabulous results, from guiding in color choices, giving us a realistic condition of the exterior, amazing communication, started and finished the job on time. His team were punctual,worked hard and fast. Coordinated even with other contractors to take care of our roof. Jimmy accommodated a small interior paint job as well, which we were extremely thankful for. From start to finish it was smooth and stress free. Highly recommend them.

Steve and his crew are the best tradies in Wellington!! I have dealt with countless tradies over the years, including lots of different builders and I have to say that Steve, Cong, and Ivan are the absolute best crew I've ever dealt with. There was no issue too big, there communication is amazing, they go above and beyond on a daily basis which is super impressive, and they do some absolute quality workmanship! I would certainly not hesitate to recommend Allstar to anyone I know. They have a huge amount of excellent feedback for their painting crew but their building crew are just as tippity top!

All Stars - should be One Star. Allstar Builders came highly recommended and initially they were great. Both Jimmy and Steve visited our property on two occasions to discuss our needs, which was a full reclad. They were great in organising for all sub-trades to visit, including an architect, so that we could get a ball park quote for the work to be done in 22/23. That was all great. Then nothing. Not a thing. No communication at all. I followed up after 3 months and got no reply. I then followed up again one month later, this week, only to be informed that even though our work was 18 months to 24 months away, that they now weren't going to do it. No apology. No explanation apart from they were busy even though our $200k reclad project was over 18 months away. I am bewildered as to why they went to all the effort of coming to visit the property, bring out all the tradies and the architect, and then not even provide a simple quote. They promised much in their initial meetings and then failed to deliver. Very disappointed.
