The splat of mayo looks like a condom. Beautiful plating of the $24 sashimi. Enjoyed the extremely salty 'jelly noodle beef' which was just a depressed japchae. The popcorn chicken was crisped to soggy, sugary perfection. The garden salad was just romaine with supermarket sushi seaweed on top. Lovely! We went on a first table...but I wouldn't go back, even if it was half off!

Lovely place, great ambiance and nice staff, but the food is a bit disappointing and its a bit pricey for some. I know its offering Asian fusion but in my mind, fusion will give us modified cuisine with tasty flavor, not worse or bland ones. I ordered many small plates, including chicken popcorns (a little extra flavor Will be great!) fried cauliflower, salad, sashimi, and Szechuan fries (turn out to be a regular fries with mayo :( ). Then for the large plates, we tried the lamb rendang and the curry. The lamb rendang is sweet, not spicy and not rich in flavor as what rendang should be. Knowing this Indonesian signature dish very well, I was sad to know that its not interpreted well. I mentioned it to the staff and I hope they can relay the message to the chef . The mocktail is good though.. tried the Daiquiris and loved it. But the bottles of still and sparkling water cost us NZD 12 each Well.. I might go back for a drink or two but not the food

2019: Lovely little restaurant that serves Asian fusion tapas/small dishes. 2022: Has really gone downhill. Can no longer recommend

V disappointed in their food and well service there was no service. Saturday night and practically no one in the restaurant. V cool spot but they need to up their game. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal...if we wanted dessert or another wine.
