Qilin Tea House

Used to love this place, so sad to see it going downhill. It must be under new management or something, as what used to be a beautiful tea house has lost its charm. Went in this morning for a smoothie and was surprised to see that the pretty menus have been replaced with tacky clearfiles, and that the glass display counter under the register was displaying a shoved in rubbish bin instead of the usual baked goods. There is also hardly any cabinet food any more, and looking at the food on the menu, its now generic cafe food. The toilets had been blocked off with an untidy looking fridge, and there is also untidy storage in the back of the seating area. Cheap printed posters have been taped to the walls, and some of the lovely seating has been replaced with cheap plastic seats. They even still had Christmas decorations up, and its February . No longer can you order a lovely pot of tea and enjoy it in beautiful surroundings. The service however was nice and friendly! And the smoothie wasnt bad. Sadly however, I dont think Ill be visiting again. :(

This place has the best hot chocolates in town rose, caramel strawberry and other flavours added. Exquisite. Fresh food baked from scratch awesome doughnuts and eclairs. Flavour filled scones and a welcoming host/chief. Yummy place and food

I am not a big fan of place. First of all, my parents are addicted to the coffee. But i do love the decoration of green and plants mixed. Thats why i will give it a 2. Only 2, nothing else

Just popped in for a coffee. Nice little spot, good atmosphere, chill jazzy music was playing, a little pricey though ($4.80 for a simple black coffee).
