I just want to say a massive thank you to the Metlink team - I left my phone on a bus & emailed the lost and found team who totally came through and were super helpful - obtained phone quickly through the cooperation of bus drivers, metlink ppl, and the lost and found /information kiosk at Wellington train station - legends all ! & well organized

Of all of the aspects of the bus system that need fixing, I think a starting point should be unannounced cancellations where your bus just doesnt show up but isnt cancelled. Surely this is the lowest effort, highest impact change you could make to your service.

Sadly the lady on the other end of the phone was useless, put me on hold and never came back them someone else said hello how can I help and I said another person was looking into it for me and she said she would look it to the problem and again put me on hold, I gave up after 5 mins. My question was why is the KPL train going so slow we hadn't even got to Plimmerton where the speed restrictions start. Then a text message comes through on my mobile saying the KPL is running 15 minutes late because of speed restrictions. I believe it was the signal's that where the problem.
