Lumino Dentist seems to keep the bad fame around the country. In Auckland it is exactly the same as others described. My partner got a simple tooth filling and it got 39C fever for three days. He doesn't suffer of anything. They also tell you to do so many unnecessary treatments.

Unbelievably awful. The treatment I received was of a poor quality and had to be done again, with all the accompanying injections and pain. Worst of all, I still can't bite food properly 2 years later. My friend also visited here to get a wisdom tooth removed and got an infection in her jaw. UPDATE - 5 years on and it fell off. The first one I had from a different dentist lasted for over 20 years. My current dentist can't believe how much of my tooth had been sanded away and said the nerve is almost exposed and I'm likely to need a root canal.
