        Great facility but with the blandest exterior architecture that gives no hint it houses a creative hub. There is no engagement with passers by at street level either. Only discovered it existed when my daughter's dance classes moved there. I've been involved in planning and financing 3 of these types of hubs in Sydney and this one is a fail compared with those: Riverside, Powerhouse Ultimo and National art school. It's apparently underutilized which is understandable. The wider Te Aro "precinct" is also a non planning disaster. Creative hubs should energise and interact with the wider precinct but this doesn't. Where's the precinct plan? Just cheap and nasty high rise residential west on Dixon, well below the standards you would get on top of an exurban train station in far western Sydney.
