Prefer to deal with a Direct Broker who puts the shares in my name rather than a custodial broker who holds the shares on my behalf. It is much better to receive communication directly from the company. Everything is online, so I haven't needed any support.

It has taken up to 15 minutes(!) to have an order placed as the staff must go over them "manually" before placing them. Through ASB Securities your order is placed the moment you press the button.
