Sauna was very nice but the cold plunge pool was disgusting, cleanliness was disappointing.

Best massage I've had in Wellington, It's a beautiful relaxing space, the ambiance is perfect and the rooms are perfect, nice temp, low lighting, clean and the therapist Eppie was amazing! I can't wait to go back

I have been coming to Tory Urban Retreat for years and have only just got round to reviewing now! The sauna and plunge pool really does feel like an oasis of calm in the middle of town. In my experience, fellow patrons have are always respectful and kept the sauna for a place of quiet solitude and restoration. You leave feeling invigorated, especially after using the plunge pool. It's the closest thing you can get to a European sauna. You can wear swimwear or just use a towel (which you can hire) to sit on or cover up with, so nobody is out of place.
