Great walkway to burn your calories and to be in the wilderness. So many rabbits are running around when you reach the top. Can see all the way to Makara and the wind turbines.

Joins onto the Skyline Walkway, passing over farmland in places; you can walk to Mt Kaukau from here or go to Rifle Range Road. You can also see the wind turbines and South Island on a good day. The path is exposed to the elements, and there are no shelters up here, so I can't recommend coming on a windy or rainy day.
