We hired Jacob to help sort our labor intensive gardens and to further develop our Orchard - He did a fantastic job and can plant more trees/plants in an hour than I can do in a day! Jacob is very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to get along with. We highly recommend Jacob to anyone who wants a no-nonsense get the job done quickly and efficiently type who knows what they are talking about AND can provide you with quality plants for reasonable prices.

Jakob from Wind Gardens is a highly knowledgable gardener with the aesthetic ability to reimagine a space and create magic there. He understands his plants thoroughly and has produced a couple of books about the subject of wind planting. The wellington and coastal regions therefore, being prone to wind and sea, are areas that he can apply his expertise and create gardens that last, provide shelter and are attractive and manageable. Had an awesome experience with Jacob - he transformed our garden....used sustainable methods, including recycling and working with what was already existing! It has been a year and he has come back over 3 times to check progress and to maintain and touch base. He is hardworking, diligent, reliable and quick! We recently built a house in Korokoro - in a high wind zone. We couldnt have found anyone better to help us out with landscaping the garden. Jacob listened to our ideas and worked with the shape of the land to create a fabulous space. He used all the earth we had so we didnt incur removal fees and has planted plants that will grow to give us colour and create wind baffles meaning we will eventually be able to plant my dream of an English country garden. Jacobs interest in our garden hasn't ended with the planting he comes back regularly to check on progress, to see how things are growing. We wouldnt hesitate to employ him again!

Jacob gave us a beautiful front garden. We had no idea what we wanted, just that we weren't happy with what we had. After a short consult he came in and quickly (and under budget) brought a look together with plantings that match our personality and our home. We're looking forward to having him back for more.
