Peaceful beach with eye-popping views. Some of my best snaps came from a gale that blew its way through, combined with brilliant sunsets. Dress warm during fall and winter months; onshore winds can be fierce. During high tide you have no beach to work with but low tide gives you the opportunity to enjoy a walk, or to relax in the sand. We visited as autumn became winter.
