Robertson Valuations

We have just purchased a home at Peka Peka Beach, Kapiti. As we live outside the area we were not sure of the values of Peka Peka Beach properties. We asked Malcolm Robertson to value the property before we purchased it, and saved ourselves thousands of dollars off the purchase price. Contacted the firm by email and received an automated response that somebody would contact me promptly. Nothing! Left a voicemail as a follow up and again, nothing. Obviously not interested in our business.

I had had previous valuations through another local company and was not impressed with result or the service so took a punt on Robertson Valuations. Service was fantastic, Malcolm's report was in depth, accurate and delivered in a timely fashion. Price wise he was much more competitive than other valuers. In fact, he was a fifth of the price of another large valuation company. I would not hesitate in recommending Malcolm and his team for any valuation and will be using him again.

We first contacted Malcolm Robertson for a valuation when we were to be bought out by NZTA. Our much-loved 2-acre property would be bulldozed for the Kapiti Expressway. Malcolm's valuation was really important because it involved negotiations with the government to get a fair price ... and incredibly it was his value placed on our property which was the price we got! The second time we asked Malcolm was when we bought our present home, and again Malcolm got the price exactly right, the one which we settled on. And now selling this place, Malcolm almost achieved the hat-trick! he was off the mark on a difficult property to assess, off by a couple of thousand dollars but we weren't complaining! Thank you for wonderful service!
