Basically tried to steal my car by telling me and my parents it was a write off. Offered to on-sell it for the cost of the road user charges left on the vehicle which, other than the common fault for the vehicle is in mint condition. Took the car to another mechanic (friend of my hubbies) had it fixed and now it's running perfectly. We've delt with D&T before with commercial vehicles and never had a problem, but as a private customer it was nothing but drama and rude service (lady behind the desk was lovely though! They scored great with her!) Good thing my husband was a mechanic in his previous career and could spot the issues and him trying to do us over.
