Previously had gained a degree and Dip HE in the UK and Middlesex University which I completed and qualified. Spent 3 years at Weltec accumulated a $32000 in debt and ended up with no qualifications. Had a good attendance rate, was engaged in classes. The issue was support. When I was studying Architectural Tech the tutor would show up, tell us what she wanted, and then disappear to her office. She did not know ArchiCAD (only one tutor did and he didn't teach us). Was diagnosed with ADHD and got almost no assistance that was applicable to my course. When I ended up with Serotonin Syndrome, of which I had been studying with (google it, its impossible to study with) I got an extension, but no assistance to help me with work. Moral of the story. Weltec is a cookie cutter institute. They provide a recipe and expect all students to follow the recipe and qualify without taking into account the needs of the student. They were absolutely awful to deal with. They told me that I'd had more tutorial time than others and that they would not provide any more face to face time with a tutor, or assistance with ArchiCAD and suggested I get help from peers rather than the Tutors. Don't waste your money on them. One of the biggest regrets of my entire life and I'm still in debt.
