Cambodian Noodle Shop

Me and my family came here as the pictures looked really good! The food looked the part, but the food was bland. The satay chicken was yum but tiny, the chicken curry was flavoursome but very small for the amount we paid. The Wonton soup tasted like pork in water with a hint of fried onions. Average experience.

The Every Good Cafe (with their signage below the "Cambodian Noodle Cafe" sign) is open and they serve Chinese meals. Prices are quite high (similar to what you will find in Wellington city itself). But there is not much meat / fish given no matter what dish you order although the cooking is reasonable. Expect to be hungry again after an hour.

I was sooo hungry and like the others before me the pictures outside on window drew me in. Happily ordered satay chicken and curry laksa soup, satay chicken was very thin but tasty, the laksa to my horror turned out to be a seafood laksa im allergic to shellfood. I approached the cashier quietly telling her it didnt say seafood laksa just curry i barely got that out when in a loud voice she yelled the picture shows seafood in the laksa, i said it doesnt and it says curry... i didnt get to finish when she cut me off and said i should of asked and ranted on, so for the sake of the other customers I just left quietly. $25 I spent there and left 1satay chicken and a full bowl of so called "Curry laksa soup". The size of the soup was awesome for a hungry customer thats why this place got a 1 star. Very disappointing experience. Should have read the reviews 1st.
