Ridiculously expensive prices are over the top, everything is sold close to bulk rather than for one, like the meat 10$ for one that's not it, everything's 5 10 or 20 $ this ain't it especially in waikanae countdown

I try to avoid it when possible. An extremely poorly managed produce area; fruit and vegetables in terrible condition, often in an advanced state of decay. Dire looking bread. Grim looking meats interspersed with vegan "equivalents", sausages segue to dogroll and other "not fit for human consumption" products. Commercial bread often just on use by date, or beyond. Some products displayed on shelving inches from the ground, so low that they are only available for the very lithe. Very Soviet era.

Countdown on a smaller scale clean and friendly staff had everything I needed and more

Staff are friendly & helpful the bakery range is mostly basic need more warm ready to eat items
