        One word.....wow. This is an absolute Jewel of a B&B. The building is Grade 2 listed, built in 1901 and very well preserved. The rooms and decor are amazing and the history of the house and grounds are available to be studied. The hosts are great, friendly and professional. The house is at the end of an unsealed road, and the dark night skies are free of light pollution, so sitting in the hot tub is an amazing experience. Well worth a visit. Rooms: Victorian rooms, many original features maintained, comfy beds all with mod cons.

        Absolutely stunning place! Only a two hour drive from lower Hutt but felt like a different world. Very comfortable rooms, great bathrooms! Impeccably clean and just wonderful hosts. They even lit the fire in the pool area to create a fabulous ambiance for an evening swim. Very pleased we managed to get a stay.
