Te Awa Kairangi Kohanga Reo - Spaces avaliable

This is an absolutely amazing kohanga. We couldn't be happier with the care and effort the Kaiako put into our son the 4 years he went here. They are all so welcoming and really helped us as we only knew the basics in Te Reo Maori. They made us feel comfortable and more confident by learning with them. I would very highly recommend them.

Te Awa Kairangi Kohnaga Reo took me and my takariki in as whanau. Not having any knowledge of Te Reo myself, I wanted my children to have a good foundation. Te Awa Kairangi Kohanga has gone beyond my expectations, not only do they teach the children the language foundations, they also teach them skills that they would never have learned anywhere else. The Whea's are focused on creating a healthy and fun environment to enhance the learning journey. Both my children were able to write their name long before starting school along with other key milestones from their early years through to getting them ready for a school. I can not thank the team at Te Awa Kairangi Kohanga enough for everything they do for our tamariki.

My ktiro attended here for a short time before she headed off to school. She came from daycare hoping to learn some Te reo in a short time at kohanga. Most kohanga don't accept 4 year olds who haven't attended previous kohanga before but Te Awa Kairangi did and I was so grateful! They were understanding and patience with her. They also do fun things for tamariki to celebrate birthdays, Christmas etc. All an all great time for my ktiro as she learnt so much in a small time.

Highly recommend Te Awa Kairangi Kohanga Reo. All staff are very welcoming, polite and approachable.. Both my son and daughter have attended this Kohanga and both are now in Kura kaupapa Mori and are confident and thriving. Whanau hui always have great whanau attendance, and is a good way for us as parents to see what our tamariki are learning and to also converse with the kaimahi. Appreciate all the staff for their support and guidance throughout my childrens Kohanga reo journey.

The Kaimahi at Te Awa Kairangi done at amazing job of teaching all three of my children tikanga and te reo maori. My youngest son has now just gone off to total immersion primary school. I highly recommend Te Awa Kairangi to anyone looking to send their tamariki to Kohanga Reo. Not only because of the values, education and amazing relationships that are built in the classroom, but also the amazing management of Katrina. This kohanga is extremely transparent and organized in all aspects of running a Kohanga. From licences, financing, building compliance, to christmas parties and outings and everything in between, Katrina and the team at Te Awa Kairangi Kohanga Reo is exceptional!
