We did the Blue walk, it was quite an up hill climb to start, which is quite difficult if like me youve not exercised much working from home the last two years but its worth it. The toilet at the start was clean and flushable and didnt smell, perfect if you forgot to go before leaving home! (Tissue is supplied) the views at the top are spectacular, we were the only people on the walk. You could see the ocean and the ranges all the way down to the south coast. Take water and a picnic/ food and enjoy the views at the very top, before walking down. If its been raining take some gum boots to change into at the bottom of the hill as its VERY muddy ! Cant wait to explore more

A great place to see some very old Totara, Hinau, Matai, and Rewarewa trees. There are 5 different tracks, all are a nice length 1-2hrs, plenty of bird life and great views from the top. Well worth several visits.
