        Stunning scenic walk on a loop track from the church carpark up through the pine trees and around the bay to the base of castle Rock. The more adventurous walkers can brave the precipitous track up to the top of the rock to be rewarded with amazing clifftop 360 degree views. A walk back along the beach completes the 5 km loop. Good walking shoes are suggested as the track can be a bit muddy and slippery, and the two from the beach to the brow has partially washed away and has yet to be repaired.

        One of the finest beach at castle point, light house walk is easy and near to the parking. Best thing is deliverance cove track, nearly 3.5 km loop from light house parking. Ideal would be starting from right side of the parking if you are standing in opposite direction from the light house. There is a slight detour on deliverance track, must take it. Stiff climbing, little unsafe but the view from the top is just awesome. There is a cliff facing light house, just perfect. Ideal for fishing but all depends on luck . Must visit.

        Walked to the first viewpoint after the Not managed by DOC after this point sign - great views! You can access the trail from the beach and then walk back slightly inland to do a loop, or vice versa.
