Authentic Thai food (we've been to Thailand 4 times) and it was top notch stuff. I had a Chicken Massaman, my wife and her Aunty shared a Cashew Chicken stirfry. My daughter had a kids menu fish nuggets and chips. None of us could fault the food, it was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. My only observation was that the ambience was a little lacking... there was no background music and because there was only one other group in the room it made for a pretty sterile feeling atmosphere. The drinks are also quite expensive, a small bottle of Thai beer called Chang is $14, even though it is locally available and costs only a little more than your standard supermarket beer. Prices aside, we will definitely be back for our next Thai food experience - hopefully there will be some background music playing next time! (I might secretly smuggle my bluetooth speaker in just in case there isn't...!) All in all, if you are looking for an authentic, delicious Thai food experience, this is the best place on the Kapiti Coast, hands down.
