Had heard many rumours, both great and not so great. However, I arrived by car on a very wet day. I was welcomed with complimentary coffee or tea in a lovely warm saloon to await my friends. Later all shown to tidy, warm rooms. Fantastic showers, wonderful roast dinner, lovely breakfast and a cut lunch. We enjoyed the experience...give it a go!

Don't listen to these fake positive reviews, from the onset the owner will express his love of right wing politics, tell you COVID is a hoax and generally micro manage everything you do. If he's proud to share a confederate flag above his diner then you can only imagine what he hides! As many others have said here, keep riding lol.

If you're one of those boring PC types that chooses to get offended by the smallest thing, then it's probably best you keep riding by here. But if you love a quirky place, comfy bed, a nice guy with a grest sense of humour who will tell you what he thinks and will give you an amazing feed then don't pass by. The roast meal was the highlight of our trip breakfast was blimmen good too!
