Good campsite with lots of walks around the area. The long drop toilet had plenty of toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

Ok DOC campsite, $10 per person is a bit steep, I think doc needs to diversify the fees a bit.

Nice little spot, though fairly small. Probably more interesting if you have a tent; there are only a few good parking spots for RVs/camper vans, so get there early if you want one. The setup is pretty standard for a DOC campground with a long drop toilet, a small shelter and a rainwater sink. There are a few trails from the campsite, though the whole area is heavily infested with sooty moulds, which apparently aren't very harmful to the trees but it gives the forest a kind of sad, sickly feeling. Still a pretty decent spot to stay very close to Cave Stream and Castle Hill.
