        Excellent workout, impressive flora, and good waterfall and glacier views. If short on time, great way to access stunning mountain views quickly.

        Good views but a tiring hike up with lots of rocks, took 1.5 hrs to the hut. Sadly there wasn't even a single bench or table to sit and have a lunch after a long hike, very disappointed. Visited at the end of December.

        Cant get enough of the Basin. Youll only find friendliest, freakiest, and funnest bunch of people and kea on this skifield. Shout out to the wonderful staff the keep this place so magical. (Especially my main man, the mountain manager, you can mount and manage me anytime Luke (sorry Marissa)).
