Pretty rough gravel road to reach it, which took us around 30 minutes to go 22 kms. So its really off the beaten track. Good for 4 wds though. The waterfall is worth the visit.

An incredible and easily accessible waterfall that's well worth a visit. The sign at the start says 30 minutes one way which was exact for our family, including our four year old. Also note that it says no dogs. Path is pretty easy going and flat gravel until 50m or so from the end, so you could get a pram most of the way. Be aware that the waterfall site is large boulders with some decent drops so, as the sign says, young children do need to be watched. Make sure you continue a little further along the road afterwards to get coffee/lunch/ice cream from the eco-lodge and visit the Bain Bay Walkway.

I am sure this waterfall is as stunning as people have commented but I can only go by my experience with this walk. After a long period of rain and wind, took the opportunity in a break in the weather to walk up to the falls. Nice bit of uphill exercise and the stream was raging over the boulders right beside it. However when we got to the end of the track there was no way we could see the waterfall as it's behind the cliff and going around the corner the spray was too intense and the creek was right up. Photos are what you can see from the road and in this area you can see lots of unnamed waterfalls from the road during the rains. So I wouldn't bother visiting unless it's a nice calm day.

It was absolutely stunning. A very easy walk from the road. We were lucky with the weather it packed in the next day.
