Westport Dental Clinic

We had an extremely disappointing experience. We went in to get a winz quote to have a tooth pulled (12 year old root canal) this tooth has been uncomfortable for quite some years. After arguing with the so called dentist, (he) wanted to clean and xray. I said no I just want a quote to have it pulled. He said we won't do anything until we do an xray! No mention of any charge to do the xray. Eventually I agreed. He then tells me there is nothing wrong with that tooth and he refuses to pull it. He then trys to tell me that pulling a tooth out will upset all of my other teeth and then starts on about a different tooth further back that has a small hole. On the way out the door the receptionist hands me a bill for $90. I had a root canal done 12 years ago and have been putting up with a dead tooth in my mouth for all that time. This dead tooth has effected my health, I lay awake at night with this uncomfortable feeling. It is dead! And I want it gone! Now because of your brain dead Dentist we will have to travel hours to another town just to have a tooth pulled You can expect us to take this misconduct to The New Zealand Institute of Dental Technologists

I have fear of dentists appointments, but had wonderful treatment from the great and helpful staff here. Had broken and chipped front teeth now fully repaired and looking better than before. Highly recommend.

On holiday and broke a front tooth. Got an appointment inside 2 days. Tooth repaired at a very reasonable price. All staff friendly and professional. Thanks heaps!
