        Good value hostel and they had availability when we got stuck in Westport which was very welcome! Private rooms are good price in comparison to other places in New Zealand, as is surf hire including transport to one of the two main surf beaches in the area. Staff were also helpful with getting us a GST receipt for insurance purposes. Would definitely stay here if I was learning to surf in the area!
