        Booked a twin room last minute after doing a hike nearby. Were very impressed, especially for $65. Very clean and well maintained. Room was simple but perfect for our needs. Bathrooms were clean, lounge room was cosy and comfortable. Kitchen was great (spacious and fully stocked). Thanks Montrose!

        The property is towards the end of the street next to Glowworm. It has a good sized common lounge, dining and kitchen area. Breakfast was included was basic cereals, juice, toast, tea and coffee. It was good to have the breakfast included for short stays since the restaurants are expensive with the only other option being buying from the supermarket. Good clean property with friendly, caring staff. Franz Joseph is a little village with only two streets so one can walk from accommodation to restaurants, supermarket, visitor center etc.
