The best hosts and experience you could possibly imagine, I could not recommend visiting enough- in-fact everyone I meet whos going to the west coast, I tell them they really must stop in at Wildside.. Dan and Kath are some of the most kind and interesting folks Ive met, and I consider them like family to this day- thats just the type of people they are. Not to mention the accomodation options are remarkably unique! Staying here is less of a pitstop and more of destination, an experience all on it own. Give them a good squeeze from me! Enjoy :)

I came here 20 years ago with a mate of mine on our motorbike tour of the South Island, and did some worked here for a week or to. Kath and Dan, you two made this one of my most memorable memories of the entire trip, and I still think of this place fondly 20 years later

We spent part of our honeymoon here. Lovely place and hosts. I still miss tending to the pot belly stove.
