Advertised as best fish and chips, sorry they were the worst I have had and the most expensive. Had Blue cod fillet with chips, fillet was sooo small and very greasy chips were soggy and fatty, my son had a hot dog piece a piece of fish and 2 potato fritters, all had no taste and very greasy, both the fritters and fish were very small. This was at a cost of over $30. Would not recommend. The owner Lucas contacted me and wanted to make things right, the options were another meal or refund. As I was on holiday and leaving the next day I opted for the refund which was then paid into my account. I respect this as not many businesses will respond in such a positive way. Will give them another go when next in Hokitika, maybe they just had a bad day.
