        Rooms: Excellent rooms with shared amenities. Very clean Nearby activities: There are great hiking and MTB tracks close. Food & drinks: They have great classic foods and great drinks

        We didn't stay but had a great evening meal, morning tea, and the customary warm and efficient service from Jane and Pat was a pleasure in the attractive setting. The library is admirable, and I was allowed to borrow a significant and precious biography. Nearby activities: Paparoa track walk for five hours and we enjoyed a bit of impromptu gold panning en route at Garden Gully.

        Nearby activities: Interesting mining history. Great walks. Walkability: Nice park by the really well maintained loo's. Street walks are interesting with the old housing etc. Food & drinks: Cold beer!

        We had a lovely stay here, it had a nice small town feel. The food was fantastic and made with local ingredients (get the bangers and mash!) The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, clean and comfy bed! Thanks for having us!! Would highly recommend!
