West Coast Surf

We had an amazing time learning how to surf with Mark. He is a great coach and provided detailed instruction to get us started, build our confidence and feel safe. Highly recommend, this was our favorite activity on our 2 week trip to New Zealand.

Amazing experience. I cant recommend it enough. I rented the red twinfin and enjoyed one of the best sessions in New Zealand in a breathtaking environment. Left-hander at the left part of the beach gets really fun. Mark was extremely kind and helpful with choosing board and wetsuit. Really great place to learn how to surf or to rent gear to surf in a hard-to-beat spot.

The best classes I've ever had. Ive improved my surfing skills immediately. I know now how chill surfing, and cooperating with water is important. Surfing seems to be easy now. I know how to do smart instead of hard.

The best surf lesson Ive had ! Started out with safety and theory out of the water, then moved to working on what we learned actually in the water with Mark giving encouragement and feedback, followed by some time to ourselves to just play on the boards in the waves ! 12/10 recommend ! Google maps will take you to the parking lot where his white trailer is.. dont worry youre in the right spot !
