    I have to say I agree with most of these comments...It has taken me hours to find out the address I send my claim to. Have posted to day to 3/1 Byron Ave Takapuna.Hope this is the correct address. Lets wait and see how long it takes for my claim to be accepted and paid. Purchased thru House of Travel.

    I would give a 0 rating but there is no option. I have been waiting over 3 months for my claim and every time I call the customer service reps say there is no one to ask as the claims adjusters don't take calls and there is no management to talk to either. The emails I receive are so infrequent and say to call with any queries then I call and they can not help at all. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR TRAVEL INSURANCE!!!! They do not care about the customer. They are thieves. 1Travel insurance has paid out my claims in the past within 7 days and so easy to use. I will NEVER use Allianz again and will tell everyone I know not to use them.

    Update 24 February 2023: here we are, six months!!! since the lodgment of the initial claim, it is finally settled! If you happy with these timeframes - go ahead and deal with this company, personally, I'm buying my next travel insurance from Southern Cross! I wish there was a way to subtract stars from this company's rating: they don't deserve ANY! I'm now approaching a THIRD month since I lodged my claim with them and there's still no end in sight! They keep redirecting me to various other organizations and task me with obtaining non-existing documents for them. I wish I've read the reviews here before engaging with this company! STEER CLEAR! It IS TRULY the worst insurance company I've ever delt with. Their "consultant" Christine Tighe who, more than two weeks after the claim was submitted online, finally got back to me, started requesting AGAIN the very same documents that have already been submitted on-line! As she is doing so at her leisurely pace of about one email per week, I'm now in the fourth week of waiting for refund for the trip that didn't happen due to COVID illness! She still doesn't understand we never left NZ, still asking for a date we "departed NZ"! Extremely frustrating experience. I will NEVER use their services and strongly discourage anyone, unless they're into "that kind of fun" from dealing with them!

    These clowns are they real "AA travel insurance". Do not use. If your thinking of using the AA for travel insurance, forget it. They never get back to you. Still waiting for a claim I made 3 months ago. They said the currant hold up was due to the current "catastrophe or disaster" According to them is Covid. lol.

    @AllianzPartners just want to express my deep disappointment from the service were getting from the insurance company that is absolutely disgrace. For the last three months we are still chasing the insurance company in New Zealand to look at our claim. Disaster customer service. And still have not been resolved. On every email that youre sending, they will only reply after 21 working days . Unheard-of. For them to call you back they declare it will be 48 hours for a call back , and Im still waiting. On a simple claim that trying to find all excuses, and want me to prove the impossible just for them to avoid being the claim . Stay away from this company ! We are starting to take legal action against them .
