Coolcar Air Conditioning Centre East Tamaki

I had my car checked here for regas of the aircon and was quoted $950+ gst coz she said theres blockage and would be a 4 hour job to clear it! I took my car to another place and they did the regas and oil only for $220. Dont go to this place its clearly a rip off she didnt even check properly just put this gadget and said no gas and blocked and quoted me for $240 regas and 4 hour job and need to leave my car for a day. Good to take it to another place for a second opinion my. The place I had it done was good and did it for only 15 minutes now my aircon is going well theyre called Advanced Auto theyre in Marua Road Mt Wellington

$745 including GST to fix my Civic air con Although I am grateful that the air con was fixed just before Xmas/New Year holiday season began, it appeared that their service provided was OVERPRICED My trusted mechanics (was already on holiday when I needed the repair) now advised me not to return to Cool Car in future as the job should only costed ~$300-350 max, and the items listed on the invoice were doubtable too. I am sorry to say I do not recommend Cool Car.

They did not get the job done and caused more problems, seems like not have expertise with EU cars. My AC button worked before sent it to this workshop and now it doesn't work. I did a diagnosis with another workshop, and from the computer, it says the AC button is physically damaged. But this cool car told me, it was from my car's sensor. Meanwhile, if it's a sensor issue they should not Remove/replace the compressor Anyway, it was a really bad experience.
