Top line: Dr Byatt was friendly, professional, fast and made the whole thing painless (in every sense). You want details, though, so here goes: - Parking isn't free but it only took about 30 mins start to finish - You go in and the Doctor asks you if you have any questions; definitely easier to just let him talk through his script and THEN ask questions - You have to whip down ya underwear and lie on a bed, facing up; you are covered in a paper towl for a modicum of decency but y'know you just have to lie there and get it done - First injection is local aneasthetic - more of a pinch than a sting, but its over so quickly it's really barely noticeable - Dr was very careful to check that it's worked, and that you can't feel anything - and will add some more if you can still feel anything - Then they inject local nearby the first teste - Then he does the little incision in the middle, and hoiks round the right tube - Cauterises it; totally painless but the Dr always checks with you first that you can't feel anything still - The smell of the cauterisation is actually probably the worst bit of the whole thing - Then he does local in the lefty - Then same again with the left tube - They don't sew or glue the incision shut; the cut is literally about 1cm long (perhaps not even that big?) Get given ice, ibuprofen, and told no heavy lifting. Felt fine driving home, and overall feel ok now BUT it does feel like i've been flicked quite hard by an overenthusiastic rugby player in a dressing room...? Now, 24hrs on, and I feel 99% fine with very minimal aches. Absolutely 100% recommend this team if you need to get the snippety snip

I was pretty nervous and not keen to do this at all, however it was so quick (literally a five min procedure) and they were so good to deal with. Heaps of info and good communication. Glad its over, but no regrets.
